Aw, Gildeory Lockhart died. I liked him. I even managed to make it through his book. Still, at least it wasn't dragon pox, I suppose. I think if I had to go, I'd rather be killed by a banshee than some illness or other.

You know what I miss about school? Being mean to people. There's just no-one here to be mean too. Anyone want to line up for an insult or two? Come on, it'll be fun. I can kick you if you'd prefer. I could even kick you and insult you at the same time if I'm feeling really generous.

I think one of my favourite things about Halloween parties is the opportunity to dress like a complete tart and defend yourself by saying, "It's just a costume. I'm actually quite modest."

The thing I don't understand is where did Dragon Pox go for 40 years? I mean it had to have been somewhere, or it would have just died out completely.

Alright, this is getting serious enough for me to notice now. That is a lot of 'disappearences.' Interesting no-one wants to write an article on it.

I'm babysitting for the Malfoys on Sunday night.

I saw the most adorable baby out today with sticky-up red hair. I think he may have been a Weasley, but fuck, was he cute. I just wanted to pick him up and take him home. Think I might get arrested for that, though, and I doubt Walden would be very impressed.

I need to do more babysitting.

Valentine's Day is different when you live with someone and sleep by them every night. Not bad different, but definitely different. I don't know how to put it. It's more cosy than when you're dating, but that doesn't sound very sexy, does it? Cosy. Intimate maybe?

I can't remember the last time I was this exited about Christmas. The childhood prospect of any number of presents and a good feast is nothing compared to the thought of waking up by my own husband, in our own bed, in our own house, going to our own tree to open our presents, and then making and eating our own Christmas dinner. Add some kids and it will be perfect. We'll see my parents on Boxing Day and Walden's the day after. Whatever. Anybody want to do something Christmas eve? Drinks or something?

I hate girls. I swear, the giggles pierce right through my brain.
