Kindness towards her may be met with suspicion and hostility, but if she comes to believe that somebody is genuinely well-disposed towards her she is extremely affectionate, loyal and helpful, loyal even to the point of self-sacrifice. If you catch her in a good mood she can be quite funny and friendly. She also plays the guitar (and harp) tolerably well and her cooking is excellent, with her baking achieving the status of legend in the Slytherin common room. Her rebellious streak, though not shifting her position as to the status of muggles, can be quite useful in thinking 'outside of the box.' She is very protective of any she takes under her wing.
Until fairly recently she had never had anything approaching a relationship or even kissed anybody whilst sober. Then the new boy, Draco Monroe started flirting with her and they arranged to meet up to take nude photos of each other. There followed a 'friends with benefits' sort of arrangement which ended abruptly when she discovered him snogging Antonin Dolohov - the one boy she had fancied consistently since she discovered boys. Upset that both were gay (not really understanding bisexuality), she fell into the arms of Walden Macnair, her brother's best friend, and the two have been together since. They bring out the worst in each other and love it. They also argue as much as they fuck, but Katharina is usually the one to back down, paranoid that the one boy ever seriously interested in her would just walk away. History: Katharina was born into a wealthy, pureblooded and prestigious line. She always felt that her parents loved her, but as a highly accomplished family, she always knew it was a conditional love, and that made her ever strive for greatness. She wished to please her parents in every matter. She did not have any female cousins so mostly grew up in the company of boys. She was a cute child, and received a certain attention as the little girl of the family which she enjoyed. Her parents gave her a mini harp for her 8th birthday, so she could accompany her mother at parties, and she grew quite good at that, for her age. By the time she reached Hogwarts, however, it became clear that she would never be as accomplished at school as one of her family ought. Then puberty struck and she became clumsy, moody, acne-ridden and awkward. Her mother wants her to be a well-bred society wife, and Katharina wishes it too, or at the very least, wishes she wished it. Alas, she is something of a slob, not particularly graceful, witty, or stylish so feels doomed to be a disappointment. Constant criticism from her mother has made her insecure and defensive. Appearance: 5ft 5 with medium-length dark brown hair, layered around her face, and brown eyes. She is under the impression that she is ugly but now her acne is clearing up and she does not scowl so much, she is actually fairly attractive. When not in Hogwarts robes she wears a lot of black - partly to fit her moods, partly to blend into the background when she wants to, partly because she was always taught it is the colour elegant ladies wear, and she would love to be elegant and graceful.
